Our Wedding

Our story began in 2021 when we both started our first jobs out of college with the New Orleans Saints & Pelicans. What began as a friendship quickly turned into a close bond over the next two years. In early 2023, we officially went on our first date to Picnic Provisions & Whiskey in Uptown New Orleans, followed by a walk through Audubon Park with Spiller. From that day on, everything just clicked. A year and a half later, while traveling through Italy in the late summer of 2024, Cody proposed in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Now, after years of friendship, laughter, and love, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you in Charleston. -Cody

Transportation

Parking will be available at Middleton Place for guests who choose to drive. Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are not available to and from the venue. Roundtrip transportation will be provided only for guests who selected transportation with their RSVP by March 10. Please see the pickup details below: Francis Marion Hotel – Pickup will be outside the hotel entrance. We recommend arriving by 4:15 PM. The bus will depart promptly at 4:30 PM. Middleton Place is home to America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Originally designed in 1741 by the Middleton family, the gardens were inspired by the grand estates of Europe, including the Palace of Versailles. Nestled along the Ashley River, Middleton Place showcases the natural beauty and charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry. We invite all guests to explore the gardens prior to the wedding ceremony.
